反式脂肪主要來自以氫化植物油為材料或用氫化植物油烹調的煎炸和烘培食品;牛和羊的奶和脂肪及其製品一般含有小量的天然反式脂肪,包括全脂牛奶和牛油。

【Common Foods Containing Trans Fats】
Fats can be mainly divided into saturated fats and unsaturated fats, while trans fats are unsaturated fats. Trans fat increases low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and reduces high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (good cholesterol) in the body, thus potentially increasing risk of heart disease.
Trans fats mainly found in deep fried and baked foods that are made with or cooked in hydrogenated vegetable oils. Cow and sheep milk and fats and their products generally contain small amounts of natural trans fats, including whole milk and butter.
