很多時候我們只顧享受水果的果肉,但其實忽略了一些水果可連同果核一併食用。例如黃皮的果核,脫水後放進罐子裡,加鹽醃製數天,咀嚼可舒緩脹氣和消化不良等。

不是所有果核都可以食用, 包括布冧、櫻桃和桃等的果核中含氰甙,咀嚼果核時會把氰甙轉變成有毒的氰化氫,存在相當的中毒風險。
