【麵包的反式脂肪原來咁高】
反式脂肪不利健康已不是什麼新鮮事,但常被視作方便快捷的早餐選擇的麵包的反式脂肪含量可能已超乎你的想像。
無論是超市、新式或舊式麵包店都不難找到具代表性的港式麵包,當中不乏波蘿包、腸仔包和排包等,因亦會使用人造牛油而增加反式脂肪的含量。若你每天都習慣以它們作早餐或下午茶時,再加上攝取其他食物中的反式脂肪,很可能就已超出世界衞生組織和聯合國糧食及農業組織建議每天應攝取少於佔成年人每天熱量攝入量的1%,相等於約2克反式脂肪。

【The Trans Fat Of Bread Is So High】
It is nothing new that trans fats are bad for your health, but bread, often considered as a quick and convenient breakfast option, may contain a higher amount of trans fat than you think.
Hong Kong-style breads are easily found in supermarkets, new or old-style bakeries, while pineapple buns, sausage buns and butter loaf are always the go-to options. The use of margarine elevates the amount of trans fat in these bakery foods. In addition to other food intakes, the intake of trans fat is likely to exceed the daily recommended intake from the World Health Organization and the Food and Agriculture Organization that should be less than 1% of your daily energy intake, which is equivalent to about 2g of trans fat for an adult.
