大眾對膳食纖維的概念都是有益腸道蠕動和預防便秘等,但其實當中的結構分為2種,包括水溶性和非水溶性。


可以簡單地理解為:

水溶性纖維是 - 可溶於水亦能被腸道分解,並形成膠狀物質與脂肪酸結合,有助控制膽固醇和血糖水平


非水溶性纖維 - 不溶於水的特質,大多會保持原狀通過消化系統,有助排走殘留在腸道內的廢物和通便的作用

The health benefits of dietary fibre are to improve intestinal peristalsis and prevent constipation. In fact, it can be differentiated into 2 different types according to their structure, including water-soluble and water-insoluble.


Let’s make it simple:

Water-soluble fibre - It is soluble in water and can be broken down by the intestines to form a gel-like substance that binds to fatty acids, which can help control cholesterol and blood sugar levels.


Insoluble fibre - It is insoluble in water and will mostly pass through the digestive system unchanged, which helps eliminate waste remaining in the intestines and have a laxative effect.
