【這些食品不等於攝取蔬菜】
蔬菜的種類繁多,但並不是所有植物性的食物和蔬菜製品則不計算在每天的蔬菜進食量中,當中包括現成醬汁、果仁和種子類、醃製蔬菜和植物油。
蔬菜經加工後會失去原來的性質,再者一些食品只取其部分的特性,最常見包括取其顏色和味道,或只為延長保質期,但並不是當中所有的營養素亦能全面保留。

【These Do Not Count Towards Daily Vegetable Intake】
There are different types of vegetables, but not all plant-based foods and vegetable products are not counted in the daily vegetable intake, including ready-made sauces, nuts and seeds, pickled vegetables and vegetable oils.
Vegetables lose their raw features after processing, while some food products only take part of their specific properties such as colour and taste. Extending the shelf life by undergoing certain food processing is commonly seen, but it does not mean not all nutrients can be fully retained.
